| HEALTH SECTOR DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM (HSDP III ) |

Demographic and Health Survey (DHS) and the Ministry of Health estimated the HIV prevalence at 1.4% and 3.5% respectively. Discussions among all stakeholders have provided common provisional estimate of 2.1 % (or 977,394 PLHIV) for 2007, adopted for planning purposes.
